Purchase Domain

  1. From the Editor, hover on the Settings button in the upper left

  2. Click on the Connect Domain button

or

  1. From the Dashboard, click on the Connect Your Own Domain button on the right of the site thumbnail

  2. Click on the Buy a new domain name button

  3. In the field below the Get a Domain Name for Your Site prompt, type in the client's desired domain

  4. If the domain is available,  the Search button turns blue and shows the text Get It, click the Get It

  5. At the bottom of the Upgrade and Get clientsdomain.com for Free prompt click on the buy clientsdomain.com

  6. Click on the 1 Year option

  7. Click on the Continue button

  8. Update the Email field

    • Purchasing the domain on the client's WiX account

      • Update the email to the email in the client's email listed in the CRM​

    • Purchasing the domain on one of our WiX accounts

  9. Click Continue

  10. Select Public Registration

  11. Click Continue

  12. Click Submit Purchase

  13. Click on the WiX account name in the upper right

  14. Click on Domains

  15. Use ctrl + f to search for the newly purchased domain

  16. Click on the ellipsis on the right

  17. Click the Edit contact info button

  18. Double check to see if the email address is either the client's or capsites@gozoek.com

    • If not, update it to either the client's email, if this purchase is on the client's WiX account, or to capsites@gozoek.com, if it's being purchased on one of our accounts​
